Conducting a preliminary analysis, it was determined that people do not like to linger in the park, although it is a popular transit to the subway.
Therefore, the main goal was to create a modern, safe square that would become a meeting place for the townspeople, a morning stop for coffee and a convenient place for dog walking It was decided to preserve the existing landscape and create new ones green zones in rounded concrete elements in the center of the square. Seats, that are inscribed in the contours of the square and concrete circular elements in its center, reinforce existing geometry and encourage visitors to use this space as a place for reflection and rest.
In combination with rounded landscaping elements and modern minimalist benches, a large number of trees mediates the height neighboring buildings, creating a small green oasis in the city center. Lanterns-candles at the entrance to the square were developed according to an individual project. Project provides convenient ground access for less mobile population groups through arrangement of ramps and tactile coating. The square quickly became a favorite place residents of the district.
